About FIT-C
The Fitness Industry Technology Council was in founded in February 2012 as a non-profit membership organization. Today it is led by Bryan O’Rourke, who is also a board member of IHRSA and CEO of Vedere Ventures. Along with five other key board members, the council has a mission of increasing collaboration to enhance user experience through the thoughtful adoption of technology in the industry.
The council is a group of professionals that represent leading companies/organizations in the fitness industry to grow the fitness industry and improve fitness user experience.
FIT-C was formed to address the following industry issues:
Drive the fitness industry forward through the thoughtful adoption of technologies
Develop and promote education to inform fitness industry participants
Encourage and foster technology collaboration across the fitness industry
Provide a means for all sectors of the fitness industry to participate
FIT-C is established as a non-profit membership organization.
